Had the bbt b on for nearly five years now. I did notice a difference at the beginning but I've since had a maf and ITG fitted and a complete r/r remap so it's now got lost amongst other mods. Mine's the car featured in in the 'Throttle Bodies' FAQ on the zones. I should mention that mine's a 2.7 conversion and has different power delivery characteristics to a stock 325.

It cant be that much bigger, there isnt alot of metal to remove in the 1st place.
I am thinking about getting a m30 535 TB welded on to my 325 inlet.

you will surely need the maf (taken out or think you can get a higher performance one, might be talking bollocks here though)and chip reset as well as the volume of air will be far greater than a 325 item

If you run MS you can do away with the air flow meter

The volume of air is measured by the AFM ... nothing else.
And they do make a difference.

The zone shop quotes 17% more airflow but no dimensions. If I get time tomorrow I''ll take off my bellows and measure mine but I'm not too well at the moment.
