well i went i saw and mostly conquered!

had a fantastic time thank boys on here for tips and bharat for helping with parts to make this day
highlights of the day
first two sessions
sitting on the back bumper of an s reg audi rs4 all the way
until he learnt the track and his car
and on the second session....seeing the course scooby come out behind me with a track instructor driving..eeek!.....so it seems though even with 100bhp extra..him being 4 up and me being alone..........didnt see him again.left him long behind ...still surprised at that.so was the 3 passengers..my mates who came down to watch

where did you get them mate?

Is it a bit of a free for all on track days there? Normally only overtaking on the left at most places???

They have overtaking on the right there because the pit exit is on the left. I thought it was odd when I was watching yesterday!

I didn't see this car yesterday, but looks like you had fun!

i was out on the track friday at the open trackday,not on the saturday with the rest of you

My bad, you can clearly see you've just 'done' those cars up the inside line on the track, you can see the gap, clear as day!

and finally hosted on goggle

ten mins of in car footage,by this time the bmw was quite a lot slower
developed a problem on right handers at lunch
traced it at that time to low fuel in the tank ,so nipped out and filled her up with petrol

by last session of the day it was holding back again mid apex with either fuel starvation or i have sloshed up the water at bottom of tank into fuel lines

all in all boys
for 230k miles and original suspension and road tyres i thought she done well
most iother cars were stripped track cars with cages strut braces and track tyres

certainly upset a few people especially in the morning before the tyres went off
and the faster cars got used to the track

much to the amusement of the three passengers in the scooby
