Trawling the internet is your best bet mate. There are a couple of cars on here with 18's, but most people prefer 15's or 16's, so may not have an answer. Try the syling/ICE section, you may have some more luck there.

There are a handful on here into big tuning and styling, you just need to find them!!

Good luck and welcome!

What car do you have?

Put up pics of it!

18" x 8J BK Alpina Replicas fitted with 4x100 pcd, absolutely no rubbing issues and a very smooth ride.
Using standard mtech suspension.
Try this BK racing link, they do a 299 model alike BBS/DTM
I've seen these in silver on a silver E30 on this site, they looked superb

stay with 17's fella tops the rolling radius is all wrong and will only give you problems in the long run
just try find some wheels you like thaat are a bit different. you can use ford/ vw rims 4x100 but just check the wheel offset

go for 18's if you want. There's a chap on here called Henry with an M3 on 18's. The touring cars ran 18's too!!!!

Rolling radius can be kept the same if you fit the appropriate tyre.

Cheers,

Illustrating wheel size... What effect does a different stud pattern have?

Most fords are 4x108 mate... sure you knew that, but just didn't want him running off & buying ford wheels then blaming you! :)

Cos the whole point of the thread's that he's struggling to find the wheels... Thankfully he's already decided to get them, rather than letting everyone talk him out of what he wants

Has anyone looked into spacer/5-stud converter jobbies recently? Would be a whole lot easier to find wheels in 5x120 or whatever...

Mainly the wheel won't fit!

hahaha I wasn't implying they would, availability aside, I wondered if there was any benefit to having 5 studs!

25% more strength holding the wheel on than a 4 stud?

slightly off the point, but what profile tyres are you running?

Also, how much is your car dropped?

I wana drop my car 60mm all round...you reckon there's any chance of no rubbing without having to roll/cut the arches?

Off topic but happy to give any advice.
215/35/18 tyres
Standard mtech springs and shocks, however using coupe rear springs as they are a little softer than convertible/tourer variants and therefore give a slight drop. I had to consider hard top weight too as this drops the profile also.
Absolutely no rubbing issues at all Tested at all speeds/with passengers/full steering lock etc. No arch modes neither.

Regards,

Andy
