Having just bought my tourer i am looking into getting some side and front indicators for it.
Initially i was gonna go for smoked ones but since seeing the green one in the pic below I am thinking maybe clear as keeps it more factory / subtle.

Can you post any pics of Clear and smoked fronts on black cars so i can get an idea.

Cheers

I was just going to put a pic of my car in but I see you've got a picture of it already sam. I was in the same mind as you. I do think it is worth getting the silver bulbs which ever lens you choose. I got mine from http://www.motormec.co.uk/
The smoked and clear lenses from motormec I think come with an orange backing which you don't have to use.
Here's a green touring with smoked lenses

"Choose you must, hmmm."

Although it's hard to tell sometimes from pictures which are smoked and which aren't depending on how the light happens to fall.

The headlights are smoked and the lenses are clear.

Thanks dude! :D

Good job you can't see the car close up - at the moment!

I bought the car with the light brows on and kept taking them off, looking at it, putting them back on, looking at it. I left them on in the end, they do sometimes add to the 'moody' look of an E30. But I agree, some cars don't suit them. All personal preferance though.

Looks like your car is even blacker as mine!

id say if ur flush, get both, then see wich u prefer if not ,then buy clears, then if u dont like them try "smoking "them ?

I think alpinachris has a good idea there. You can then smoke them as much as you desire :rasta:

Thats a good idea! I think im more partial to the clears at the moment anyway....... also means I can smoke them them just a little bit if I want!

Has anyone tried to smoke their headlights ... I imagine it would look a bit crap unless you did it well and I guess might decrease the efficiency of the lights..... just been looking at the prices of the proper ones though!!!

Reckon im gonna spray the rear indicators red as well!
