i was about to comment on the low level of your opposition then i realized that you only have a 318is and not a 325.a 325 would have seen them both of easily.i wouldnt really class "shit on it" as him not being able to get away from you though, thats more a draw in my mind.as i read it 2 draws and a defeat would be best kept to yourself.tell us about your wins

I don't race anyone either, I just drive faster than everyone else
Seriously, the roads are too busy these days for that sort of thing. Best kept to the tracks

My dad has raced a few things on the road up to legal speed limits.
330ci from standing. We won by a long way.
My dad had a play with a new M5 but had to keep it under 4k due to engine being run in on the motorway. My dad had no chance.
Raced a scooby was pretty even until we got to a few corners. We beat him to some traffic lights then he went another way.
Probably a few other cars but can't think at the moment.

Just cruising along this morning and some kn0b in a n Astra VXR decided to be right up my ar$e and flashing his lights to get past.
He obviously didnt know the area well as when I let him past he tore off like a loon only for me to pass him 2 mins down the road round the next bend as he been pulled over by mister plod
Was well tempted to slooooow right down and give him a quick beep and a midle fingered wave but decided against it.

i slaughtered an e34 535i up to 150kmh. had 3 car lengths on him then let him go as 150 was way faster than i wanted to go. i chopped a VN commodore ... a 3.8ltr V6 sedan for those that dont know. he was miles behind at 100kmh. and a VL commodore another aussie sedan which has a 3.0 ltr nissan rb30 motor from a rolling start at around 60kmh too about 120 i had a about a car length on him.
i have been smoked by a 5.0 ltr holden VS commodore, another worked VN 3.8;ltr v6 and a DAIHATSU CHARADE TURBO!!!! i almost sold the beemer after that.
oh and i chopped a ford capri turbo with neons body kit giant gauges and huge stereo that was the best.
but yeah street racing and drifting is bad rarara blah blah blah eat a dick

I battered a MG ZR 160 bhp from the lights in my sport the other night and then hunted down a XR2I and whooped him but thats no big deal really is it. You were never gonna get near the integra in your 318is, Not even in a 325i sport or E30 M3.

i did try to race an astra mk3 once in my E34 525i, but lost the back end on a slip road going on to the motorway lol

I drive like my gran, and she drives like theres nothing else on the road (shes blind see)!
Shocked max would try sell his dads car on one thread, and then brag about street racing in another, that may have to be reflected in the value of my offer!

Oh dear oh dear. They're FUN but they're not FAST... not as standard anyway. Thats why E30s make such good sleepers when they've been breathed on

I've got a 316i, and travel to college 30 miles away 3 days a week...most of the commute is motorway, with about 5-10miles at the end being country roads....
On the motorway I normally do about 65-70ish as I always leave early to avoid traffic and and I don't be in a rush...but i normally keep it to that speed or more on the country roads...which have a few very good bends including a few left-right-lefts, and a few really tight corners....
anyways, i don't go looking for a race, but the last 2 days i've left college early, so instead of running into the usual business type wanting to get home at the end of the working day, i've come across a few (wanabee) boy-racers.....
since i serviced my car last week it's been running alot better, and if i'm honest i''ve been looking to give it a bit of a thrash whenever possible to feel the difference....
anyways, to cut a long story short...raced a modified puma....he was doing about 70 down the straights, and then slowed down for the corners....where i flew past him....and stayed well ahead...and by the time i go to the motorway, couldn't even see him in my rear view...
No major feat i know, but i honestly didn't expect the service to make that much of a difference!!but it has!!!

This same car had burnt past me a week or so ago when i was taking it easy on the car as i didn't know when it had been last serviced...so revenge was definately sweet!!!!
I've also been getting the back end out, which i didn't think you'd be able to do in a 316 unless it's wet....
all in all, had a good 3days motoring...lots of fun!!!!!
I'm thinking about keeping the 316 as my commute car, and will be looking for a 325 cabby towards end of year as a weekend car....!!!
Final note.... I Love E30'S

Raced a Boxter once, on the way to Oulton Park for a track day (a bit of a warm up). Try as he might there was no way he was shaking me off. Thought that my cabby must be quick after that and raced my buddy in his 3.6 carrera and got well and truely blown into the weeds, DOH!

not had any challenges recently
but have wasted many a chav chariot round here
aslo for some reasoni seem to attract the higher quality of rep racers in there mercs
not had one that had the balls to really go for it yet
had the best race the day i bought the sport
was pootling up the m (private raceway

) when an e36 m3 and an e46 m3 shot past me
i wasnt having that so gave chase immediatly didnt beat either of them but was pissing
them off bigtime upto 130 plus when i realised even slight braking was sending my car allover the place and decided to leave it there
just wait till my 2.7s finished then we shall see what these new shapes are made of

This thread could go on and on and on and on...... so, to add my load of crap.
Had a mint red 1990 318is about 3 years ago. Lowered, 16' AZEVs etc. etc.
sharp wee car. Saw a new mini cooper in the mirror, dropped to 3rd and held flat to the red bar.
Chucked 4th and held flat and so on.....
Cooper passed no problem and even clutched and limited at me as he went passed!
What a cheeky sod. Anyway it sounded class even though it looks like a 65 year olds droopy breast
with a face and wheels. Horrible car.
