hi all just got hold of a 318 2dr to play with pretty much mint 86k
any way seen a few with cosi motors in how hard is this to do any guides abbout
handy with the spanners so dont mind a chalenge
ill get some pics up as soon as
site is look ing good think ill be back here more often

325 engine will drop in very easily, unplug the engine loom in the bay, drop in the new engine, prop, diff etc, plug the new one in. Job done.
Lots of other engines fit, m50's, m42's, etc .... I have no idea what engines these are but they sound good. I'm sure someone else will be able to answer your question better than me...

M50 is the 24 valve version of the old M20 6 cylinder. M42 is the 16v four pot fitted to the 318is

thanks was thinking abbout the 2.5
but i used to have a rst till a few months ago and im starting to miss the turbo 1.8 is a bit slow
and i fancy doing something diferent so thats why im thinking of puting the yb in there
so any help is apreciated

Talk to fuzzy. He has 296bhp work of YB turbo in his touring.That should get you interested again fubar.
No idea how easy/difficult it is to do but if you search the engine swap section of the forum you might find a thread on it.
