E30 Zone

has anyone ever seen another bmw with a number plate the same as yours bar 1 number e.g if you have c123 abc, and then see a car with c124 abc, im only saying this because i know for a fact all the cars with similar plates to mine are bmws and have always wanted to see one

318i D494 MFJ - another zoner had Black sport D511 MFJ
318is H813 AFJ - Bimmaman has H786(?) AFJ

yeah there most likely from the same dearship on the same day... as i think the registrations are all done together..... not 2 sure though....

some dealership staff will be able to say though

I've seen one with one letter up from my old car, another BMW

i got a K725 CJM and saw another e34 with K735 CJM i think, was defo K7 and CJM, made my stomach drop as it was kind of similar to mine

My brother bought an e30 new in Germany while he was stationed over there, RHD UK spec. When he got back to the UK it was registered over here. After a while he started getting speeding fines from cameras. He'd not been anywhere near the areas the offences were commited. It finally turned out somebody else had a similar model, and whoever made the plates had transposed two of the numbers (eg 579 became 597), which meant it was running around with my brothers reg number on it.

Years ago I picked up my first new BMW from Chenhalls of Paignton, a 4 door 316 C64FTA, and there lined up was C65FTA C66FTA C67FTA C68FTA. If I remember right the C67 and 68 were both Baurs, Anybosy seen my old car?

Yeah if you look on these dvla lookup sites you can see what car has a determined plate

501 is a 316
503 is a 325 se
504 is a 316
506 is a 525i se auto
507 is a 320i auto
508 is a 320i cab auto

Mine is G385TYE; G367TYE lives about half a mile from me. It's a 320I, too.

If you go here (or probably a similar website) you can type in similar registrations to yours and at see what cars they are registered to, it take a few goes to find a registration though.

I had a renault five campus and at my local sainsburys always used to see an identical car, same colour trim etc with the same plate, just one number higher. Its a dealer thing, they get given an alocation of reg numbers and they put them on each model they sell consecutively.(sp, I'm drunk)

there are some such nice e30 plates sat on crappy fiesta's and stuff from 1988...mostly fords and renaults.....i see someone has E30 BMW on a black sport with 1 previous owner...nice plate who ever that is

im gutted, my plate is E31 VWX.How good would E30 AED (my initials).Had a look at dvla records, E30 AED is registerd.neone got E30 *** plates?very unique!Alex

mine is H20 RDV and by the looks of that site it has had a personalised plate thrown on it at some point. mine comes up but there are no similar ones (from the few that i tried)

There is a regular poster on here from down my way, E30 Mark maybe? who has E30 OK (Illegal spacing, you will rot in hell lol !) on a tidy 318is I think....

My car was put on a private plate earlier in her life but was registered and lost the original number. Current plate is H467 VET.

Have seen an Eunos Roadster with H4** VET and sat in traffic last week i notice an Audi 80 behind me with M476 VET. That's as close as i can get!!

Wondering in the VET ending is reserved for registered vehicles. Any one know?

A boy from here(the zone) put a red 318is(i think) to a track car and the number is very similar to mine.

8 years ago i had a white ford orion 1.6i Ghia D414YMO and used to see localy another orion ghia but not injection, with the reg D413YMO.

H769 AFJ - First time I saw a pic of your old 318is, I thought it was my car!

Have seen one similar to mine... my old red 318iS was H117 WRM and i passed another red 318iS with the license plate along the lines of H116 WPM. Cant remember what it was exactly though but i was stunned to say the least =)

but i have had 3 e30 plates:
H117 WRM
H663 HJO
F875 LBM

Id be interested to see if anyone has anything close to them

My plate is WIB 9123,which comes from County Armagh,local to me is a Merc with MIB9123
