I bought one from Wayne... top bloke. If he's struggling to find them, then God knows where you'd find one!

A case of hunting through the Italian Ebay (is there one...?) or Portugese car sites I guess.

Sorry to be not much help! :?

But you could pick up this charming fuel filler flap whilst there!

Not that expensive to import into GB I wouldn't imagine. No import tax as the car is over 10 years old, just insurance, road tax and petrol and getting over to Italy. But I'm no expert in impotation you understand. :P

Chris... why do people do stupid things like that?

All you have to do, correct me if I'm wrong, is to get the Italian version of the V5 stamped by the local authority giving permission to let the car out of the country legitimately... so you can then register it in the UK. Then you need a letter from BMW GB to authenticate the build date of the 320iS so that DVLA can then register it accordingly.

The 320iS ALWAYS put a smile on my face when I drove it. LHD makes it feel all the more special. When gunning hard, the gear change between 2nd and 3rd when on cam was sublime and really let you know you were in something special. Definitely worth the hassle and they love being driven hard. The S14 lump is hard to beat, and even though it's 'only' 190bhp, the engine just pulls and pulls.

Competely different car to my 328i Sport though... As nice and tight as the E36 Sports are (well, mine is), it will seem like an armchair if the 320iS has been well looked after and the suspension is sorted... they are real go-karts.

If I had a choice of an E36 328i Sport and a nice E30 320iS, I would have to go for the 320iS... only because they are just that little bit special.

Hope this helps you make your decision! 8)

Giles.

JUST BUY TICKET AND GO TO ITALY
as my mate did 2 years from now back in march 2005 , went by plane to Colone ,
Germany, landed at Colone at around 1pm,took taxi from airport to the small place about 40 kmtrs from airport,
had a look at the car , paid a money to the guy , than that chap went to local DVLA or that sort of thing.
he than paid another 200 euros for transit plates and 2 week insurence DEKRA, by the way .
and after 7 or 8 hours was at destination point King's Lynn
.So that's the story :D :D
Day's trip, and you have 320 is .
why don't you wont to have alok here autoscout24 .de or mobile.de
that's where my BM is from .
