Anyone near bromley in Kent fancy letting me have a look at their car (pref a Touring) so I have a a bit of a practise at inspecting them.

I'm looking to buy a touring what to know what to look for/where things are etc

The winning offer gets a pub lunch on me. winkeye

Im based in Crofton (between Petts Wood and Orpington) Your welcome to come and have a look at my touring once it stops snowing.

Or why not come to one of the local meets. The last Lakeside meet attracted over 30 cars. Next one is on 17.02.07

Just to be clear.

I'd like to look 8O (not borrow  ) at someones car and go through a buying check list just so I know what things should look like and get a feel for where/how things are on E30's

Preferably on a touring.

I've not actually been to look at any yet and want to know what I'm doing when I do.

Cheers

No Probs, Like I say as long as its not snowing, the entrance to my garage is on a slope and if there is snow/ice about I don't want to slid into the door frame putting her away.

Cotty there isn't anything wrong with your touring!

rusty sunroofs, tailgates and front wings, front floor pans seem to be the fav bits on tourings. They generally are harder wearing than the other body types. There are alot of high milers around too, most seem to be kept going for some reason!

sqweeky tailgate, tailgate wiper broken. Water in the rear footwells, blocked drain hole. Saggy headlining at the rear, dog smell - these are all the touring things i can think of

hth
