what badges should my tech2 sport have on the back from the factory!!?
cos at the moment mine has "325is"
was like that when i bought it and im sure its wrong!
what does yours have?

ive been confused with this before. im sure they didnt make '325is' models as such as in '318is' ,unless the s has been added as an abbreviation of sport by someone else?

Should just be 325i

Yeah mine has 325i but ive always thought they should have 'is' like the 318is.
Its the same with e36 328i on the sport model it just says 328i !!!

Yank and Austrailian ones have 325is on them,uk ones dont.I fitted a 'is' bit to mine from the 318is so mine read 325is

iirc south african sports were badged 325is

I'm tempted to fit 332is to mine when its finished but I prefer the idea of sh!tt!ng on new M3's with 316 (no i) on the back.. The rest of the car looks bog standard (no Mtech and no body colour option on all wing mirrors etc)!

Mine just says 328i (not 328iS as it's a Sport) but I think I'm going to de-badge it anyway... Too much 'stuff'going on around the back. I much prefer a smooth rear-end...

im pretty sure some of the later sports came without a 325i badge on, they just had an M badge on right

You could probably choose whichever combo of badges you wanted from the dealer from new. My 1991 Sport has the 325i badge but no M badge (just the little Mtech ones on the kit).
