Hi, Ive been interested in buying an 325i tecII Sport for some time now, but dont really know all that much about them!
I'd like to know what to look for (wear and tear/rust wise) also what different specs the cars came with (interior, leather..?)/factory options should I look for/what were available? what year did they stop production (92 J was it?) and any other general info I might benefit from.
What sort of car should I expect for 3K? and should I hold off and save a little more?
Is their a buyers guide someone has put together I could look at?
Info would be great thanks

Yeah, theres a guide on here bud...........................J and K plates are around but scarce. Some options to look out for are; Leather/ OBC /rear head rests/ upgraded sound system(tweeters in door mirror houseings)/ air con/ met paint/ Recaros/ heated seats ...........probably loads more but can't think at the mo. All these options are pointless thou, cos these days you have to buy on condition. As for your 3k question,it depends on how good a sport your'e after, sometimes you can get lucky, but usually you get what you pay for. From what i have seen 2.5k buys a dog(they usually smell like one to!)and 6k (ish) buys a top sport usually from a respected dealer. Don't let all the (many) ropey ones put you off,as there are a few good ones that do come onto the market now and again.
Good luck in your search mate
