If i was buying a car at 16k i wouldnt even look at that advert! Surely if effort has been put into the car it deserves a decent ad!

Tell me why this is worth £7 - £10k
I believe it's worth this much assuming its got decent service history and good condition?
So your saying a 32,000 miler isn't worth £20k

What a normal m3? no way. you can get mint sport evo's for that.
Besides i don't like the idea of a 15-20 yr old engine covering such a little distance, i'm guessing the car has been stored for years at some point... i'd rather have a car with twice the mileage or more thats been in regular use.

is the car really as good as it sounds? is it?
if it is it aint worth that much! cos it don't sound like much. As has been said wouldn't buy a bean off a guy who only uses two sentances to describe the car, and one of them isn't even about the car!

U lot make me laugh why the fook do you all feel the need to comment on what someone wants for there car?

for all you know the car may have been brought as a weekend runner for someone who only wants to do a few miles just for the feel of it.
until you see it you should all keep your comments to yourselves or failing that all go into the car trade as you all seem to know so much about the prices of cars youll make a killing

7k for a 23k M3.. You've been smoking some good shit
If it reflects the mileage its proper money, just cause the guy hasnt put the effort into the ad (his mistake bad show etc)

Wayne, at German Cars, is far from a Tosser. If he says a car is mint, then it is, trust me!
I agree though, more effort could have gone into the advert. You'll NEVER buy a £16k car from an advert though, you'd ALWAYS go and see it anyway...

Doh. Silly me.
Edited it now.
But would you pay £23k for a 16,000 mile car...?

paulj, it's because we're armchair experts trying to justify our existence

I'm secretly trying to drag M3 prices down to the point where I can afford one

lol good point 320i.. i'm sorry i just don't see the point.. what use is that car other than to be kept in a garage somewhere.
Surely the whole idea of buying an M3 is because you want to drive it, and drive it properly, not store it in a garage. Unless you have an extremely rare one it just seems a waste, as i doubt whoever does buy that car for that money will ever use it as intended!

I have a 1990 E30 M3 Cabrio that curently has 7,301 miles on it. I've put 4,749 miles on it in the 7+ years that I have owned it.
I also have a 1989 325ic that I have had completely reupholstered plus a thorough repspray (clearcoat) after dissassembling everything I could, as well as new top, and the mechanics are top condition...and it also is just a summer car.
I don't expect to be putting much more than a few hundred miles a year on the M3 as I drive to car shows, or out for a sunday coffee with my wife. But, I do plan to keep it...and I absolutely love it. My idea of a perfect day is to roll up the garage door, back the M3C out, turn on some tunes, grab a cool beer and detail. At the end of the day or next day I'll put the top down and go for ride, knowing my car looks like a million bucks.
Am I wrong doing something wrong in your books then?
Cheers,
Jim

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever - each to their own isn't it?
But just don't drink to many cold beers if you are going for a drive when you've finished detailing

Cheers,
Jim
