Well i really have found the daddy of all car polish, Maxx Power rated it 10/10 so i thought i would try it, i would rate it 11/10, and the name of the polish is SWISSOL - Onyx, it comes in wax form, thou very expensive, worth every penny, it cost about Ԛ£38 for a 200ml pot, i would say you would get about 8 - 10 cars done with the 200ml tub, but also its worth buying SWISSOL- Cleaner Fluid as well, you wash the car, let it dry, then go over the whole car with this cleaner fluid which you use just like polish, this gives the car a squeaky clean finish, then you use the SWISSOL-Onyx car wax, wipe all the wax of (which comes of so easy) and then leave it out in the sun for a few hours, as this also helps to add to the finish as the wax reacts to the sun to give the deepest Bling- Bling finish you will ever get on your car, :D

I also bought some Swissol Cleaner Fluid and Onyx wax. Hopefully I'll be applying them tomorrow. As Dale didn't post any pics, here are a couple I find through Google:

And keep reminding me of posting my own actual before and after pics, if they don't appear here in the near future 8O

Actually, I have a friend in Switzerland who bought them for me from the Schlieren factory itself :D He said that there were some very well looked after cars parked right outside. The Swissol lady wouldn't let him out before a thorough lecture on how to use the products correctly :!:

Swissol is brilliant, but bloody expensive

It's rated as one of the top car care products. Another name that comes to mind is the Zaino (???) range.

For the last couple of year I've been using Mer, excellent results but you have to move quick or do a small panel at a time. AND its german made !!

Expensive initially yes, but in the long run actually very cheap compared to other top brands. The 200ml jar lasts for ages, used max. 5ml for the whole car.

That first pic of c76jon's bonnet is just amazing 8)

It looks like a reflection on pure aluminium. Must take ages though to come up like that eh!

i have seen jon's car in the flesh and it IS amazing. i have used zaino and it is as good as it looks, takes a little work, but it is well worth it.

I think seeing the cars in the flesh is the only way to tell... all the piccies look nice but from none of those can you really tell which is the "best" polish...

This shine is a mixture of zaino and Autoglym and was lobbed on in a hurry!

Besides - the polish can only be as good as the paintwork right ?
