E30 Zone

hello everyone,
i was thinking of changing my lights
for something i little more upto date
and wondered if anyone on here has any of
these rear lights?
dont really want to spray mine with red tint,
any pis would be great cheers.





and if any one has fitted a set of ready
built angeleyes? cos only seem to see
crappy looking self converted ones
where i live!!
any pics of these also?

those rears look nice, think i would give the white a tint though, maybe a touch bling but only slightly.

Those tail lights are terrible, instant way of making your car look like its worth £50.

Guys i will be selling my rear lights, i currently have the ones on the picture at the top, but i wanna replace them with originals that have been professionally sprayed red except for the reverse lights so if anyone wants to trade id be happy to obliige.

I have a set of all red...proper mhw items and my indicators flash orange..

I suppose yes each to there own, the ones pictured above are true council..in the words of Theo...the car will be worth £50

Elliot , Its a personal taste thing , but people tend to be purists on here , me included. Dont mind the all red lights but clear is very E36 and E36's were poosville really??

they are cheap and nasty they leak and make your car look crap

the all red lights are better even home made ones

just relocate the indicators to the revesing lights to make them road legal

i've had those rear lights on my car before but took them off earlier this year. Its a hit and miss I like them but got bored of them make the E30 look like an E28 from the rear, but they are a better alternative compared with the nasty looking lexus type ones, The angels I have them on mine and they can be wired to your sidelights, there pretty good quality and better light output compared to the original smileys.

i think it was this bloke who told me about the depo angel eyes. you have to look on ebay for them, otherwise of their website they are about £300 plus postage and taxes for the standard ones. then if you want a higher kelvin to make them white blue the price nearly doubles. ebay i got mine was about £230 including shipping and import tax.

as Tony said, Ebay thats where i bought mine.

nope i stand by my statement, your items one and two are not visible, and some body kits may look good, i am sure ben would agree with that one.

those lights would even ruin your dads M3! (assuming they fit cannot tell if they are pre or post, as i cannot bear to look at them long enough to decide.)

I definitely agree with the colour comments, I think these can look nice on a white or red car...I had a set of these on my car for a while, but switched back to standard ones, the red clashed badly with my paintwork!. Also the fit wasn't exact, and they leaked and filled up with water after a while and had to be removed and emptied. On the upside they sold on ebay for more than i paid for them when they were brand new, so no harm done

they would never get seen on there.

as gouki says they would look OK on a white or red car

but other than that wouldn't look good at all

but t the end of the day its down to personal opinion

I can't see what the problem is with them...

Those angels look worse.

i have both these sets of lights on my touring,although some have slated them i like them and thats all that counts

so thats why you went for the Turbo cossie, to avoid the negative comments .....

i got my angels on there way crsytal clear ones

you can even get black ones now

hopefully be gettin my car back from the bodyshop tonight it looks great will be adding pics soon
