Would there be much work in getting the upswept bits cut off and leave a straight finish on the pipes?
I'm very undecided on the upswept look, certainly would prefer straight pipes, but theres a scorpion system come up for sale with the dtm tips for reasonable money that I might buy

E30 Beemerlad, i thought you were a decent well adjusted sort, and that the toyota was a temporary glitch ,how wrong i was. You have been a council deviant all along, i knew you had a rusty sport but i didn't realize it had a 'terror' 80mm drop, burger kings,DTM wrongness, an aeriel bought from lidl and a stripe even dodgier than the one on my 535!. I bet inside the steed you have an ebay 'alpina' handbrake grip, some 'shitzer' pedals, a sony explode head unit and an axed rear shelf with some argos 6x9s, mouse fur is too good for you !
P.S sorry peeps, unless you own a real DTM car, DTM pipes are the height of councilness and are VERY wrong
P.P.S if your DTM exhaust is made by scorpion, congratulations, you are council person of the week and on behalf of Argos i would like to present you with a track suit (though you probably have plenty already), ten sovereign rings and some window tint film

Being a 'foreigner' .. I've often wondered exactly what 'council' was..
Thanks Pete for clearing that up for me !!!

DTM's are hot! look right right at home on an e30 M3 but maybe a bit over the top for the Non-M e30's IMO

Lol Pete
The car wasn't a sport, but a pisch spec 325 which had the tech 2 kit fitted by the supplying dealer when the car was 2 years old, it is sat on the floor as it has a boot full of parts, like a gearbox, 2 heads and god knows what else. That pic was taken when I sold it to dazleeds. No councilness inside though I'm afraid, except maybe a matching Momo steering wheel & gearknob. I go the car for Ԛ£250 and gave my mate a 4 year old sony laptop, so it stood me at nothing really and it produced 192bhp on the rollers for my mate.
I don't posess any sporting attire apart from a pair of casual trainers from Next
The exhaust system was Scorpion, so I await Mr Everett to turn up & present my award. Sovereigns can go on ebay with the window tint film as the windows on the soarer are already tinted out
Anyway, what were you doing up posting at 12.09am peter, ran out of Ben & Jerry and money to count

I bought a stainless backbox DTM style off Ebay for abot Ԛ£60 inc shipping from the states, i must say they look great on my tech (kit), its sounds great too and for the money you cant go wrong, it cost me Ԛ£25 to get fitted by a mate who had to do some pipe bending and welding so it was a bargin, Any way im 21 so i can carry out the council look unlike most of the middle age geezas who are afraid people will think they are going thru a mid life crisis, if you think its right then go for it!!!

So young and handsome - yet so Council. From your Scorpion, One can only presume you hang aroung in gangs during the day and let off fireworks at night during the Council Fireworks season*
A Jap import is oh so indicative of your deep rooted Councilness and I bet there's a Mazda Friendee Bongo back at your DHSS flat in which you go to the Friendee Bongo club meets at Billing Aquadrome where, no doubt, you drove your Senator (sorry, 'Sennie') 'back in the day'.
Import Soarer - grey slip on shoes and a ten dollar suckeeFuckee thai bride. "Aaa Toyota wongness me love you long time ten dowwar thucky fucky you want?"
Just kidding Dude

Depends on the mods fella, some are acceptable some just aren't.... there was thread earlier on this very subject. People can only advise and at the end of the day it's personal taste...some have got it, some haven't - One person's council is another person's cool.
