Got my 318iS now, and It came to me sans
Carpets
Door cards
Glovebox
Centre console
How much further can I take the stripping?
got some sound deadening to do, and already removed boot carpets, anything else you can think of?
I'm limiting myself to lightening mods at the moment whilst I get used to the car, and also due to the fact that it's insured as a "normal car" ie no engine/susp/brake mods at the moment..

Is it going to be a dedicated track car? i.e just the drivers seat in it?
can you sing? if so take the radio out...
the headlingin thingy? all the electric motors..

radio is already out-forgot to add that.
I've been eyeing up the electric windows
manual sunroof
at the moment she's my runaround so i'll need most of the interior, but will eventually end up being 2x seats in front and thats it.

The floor & boot sound deadening is supposed to weigh quite a bit.

remove the centre console (front and rear), move the electric window switches to the main dash board (where the hazard button is), all sound deadening, speakers, kick plates, head lining, rear shelf, belts, un-needed wiring for the radio, etc, all boot linings, that should help...

glass weighs a lot more than you would think
replace it with lovely plastic that goes all scratchy and looks naff but weighs nothing
not the windscreen

can go further, what about the rubbing strips on the bumpers and the trims on the doors?
electric aerial motor?
If you are a real scot you wont mind the cold, out comes the heater matrix and blower motors
Just sit in the car and look around for what you dont need!
