Went up to jc-bm's place the other week and he had a 6 branch that they have had replicated from the alpina one, but in very shiny stainless steel!! It's an exact replica so should give whatever gains the 'pina does and it looks really sweet!!! Nice and shiny and somehow looks a lot cleaner design than the btb!!

Def worth dropping them a mail!!

Unfortunately they copied the wrong manifold.

I'd like to see the collectors and the internal work of the manifold before purchasing.

According to many sources, the Alpina manifold gave hardly any extra power.

Sal not being funny mate but i bought a alpina 6 branch of blingsta and the mimute it went on i felt a difference in the cars performance, I know the BTB has been proven to give gains but surly the alpina one must do aswell even just for the fact this off the alpina model

Im gonna get her dyno'd soon but I supose i have to remember that im running a BBTB and ITG filter aswell

Definately worth saving for the btb one mate, go on push the boat out :!:

I purchased a btb manifold for the 2.7 im (slowly) building and its a fookin work of art mate, precision fabrication at its best, im very pleased with it.........

Does anyone know what sort of gains you do get from the pina manifold?

If i am thinking of the right person, then Sal is right. Yes they have copied a manifold but it's no alpina manifold LHD or RHD. I know what both look like and alot of people seem to think the magnex rip off manifolds are alpina RHD ones when they are totally different.

Cliffy has a proper RHD alpina one

It's a rip off of the magnex the one i have seen, looks more like the dodgy ones that gumball was selling a long time ago for those that remember!

Hi,

Realest- I can obtain 5 number 6 Branch manifiolds, all brand new,
not Alpina.

1 is not worth the hassle involved.

If you can get 4 others then let me know.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

but what are they gorilla?!

Hi,

Simon13- these are 3 into 1 x 2 banks, for the M20 6 cylinder Engine
in stainless steel, with extra long primaries, more power,
in 1 1/2 inch tube.

Can come with X pipes if required.

Basic price for 5 would be approx 425.00 each brand new,
subject to currency exchance at time of order,
so may go down or up slightly.

The only 'down side' is that they were originally clones of the Alpina
6 Branch, and would have been based upon a LHD car.

Over 100 sets have been sold to Australia and South Africa,
and they are RHD.

I do not have pics at the moment, but do need 5 min to get an order.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Blingsta had that genuine Alpina RHD manifold fitted and dynoed before and after - 5bhp. He has the dyno graphs which he showed me at Aces the first time I met him.

The only decent manifolds out there are the RD, BTB and the Hartge.

Stick with these and you won't go wrong.

The RD manifold could be sopied if Simon allows it but it is so hard to make the cost is very very high.
