Very cool, though kind of like the chase footage you sometimes see in hollywood films where the car seems to have a 25 speed gearbox

Yeah, and the steering needs constant correction - when going in a dead straight line!

people always think ferraris are the nuts but in reality they are not actually that fast. ok they have a good top speed but put one on a 1/4 mile run and see how embarrassed the driver is when he just breaks in to the 14's

That video is my mates e36 m3. He's from da motorsport. That video is about 3-4 years old. He had a supercharger back then. Power was about 400+hp. Now he has over 1000hp ( now turbo ). Check out his site. da-motorsport.com

true, a ferrari is more a GT car than a straightline 1/4 mile car.

in the real world, a ferrari would be plenty quick point to point

funny really as I have seen this video before claiming the car HAS 1000PS (in words T H O U S E N D) and thought that should just destroy the Ferrari and leave two black fat stripes on the floor. With 1000 PS......

I can read. Read my post again. This video was claiming 1000bhp when shown a year or two back.
I would like to hear some reports on how this car drives with 30psi 365 days a year (and normal maintenance required only..)
I have test driven a Subaru with "only" 300bhp and that was aweful. All power, or nothing.
