Completely different experience to you! I've bought about a dozen E30s in the last two years and most of them have had their toolkits more or less intact. All the towing eyes have been there, about half of the first aid kits, and I'm actually in profit on the number of torches - some have had two. One where it should, and another behind the centre console

Do you keep them? if so why? whats the point?

As far as I am concerned they are part of the car, what next? swapping the BBS for steels and removing light bulbs

the point is how meny of us sell a car on with bits missing.
knowing the missing bits are tucked away some where.

if anyone were to be honest and admit they kept an item aside.
just curious why. prob to sell on ebay.
as i said the tools are only fit to use in an emergeny ie break down.
and surely not kept to use.
and it just another topic of conversation.

question. where was the fire extingusher kept on the e30.

Most users on here are enthusiasts, and when selling an E30 see it as a bonus to sell the car with all the nice bits still fitted, so I would probably say in answer to your question, not a lot of people sell the cars on with the bits missing.

Fire extinguisher was mounted to the underside/front of the drivers seat.
