E30 - The chosen wheels of Hezbollah

Anybody else catch the BBC 10:00 news this evening? Israel may have the power in the air but Hezbollah would have supremecy on the ground.
The news interviewed a Hezbollah fighter as he was proudly sat in the drivers seat of his red E30 convertible. Roof was up and AK47 was on the passenger seat.
Needed a clean but he did have headlamp eyebrows on it from what I remember!
No Zone sticker though.

We will have to point him in the direction of the zone. Although if he has an ak47 i guess he can have what car he likes

LOL - the e30 may be a fine car but i doubt it can outrun an israel fighter jet
As for the AK on the seat - maybe the police round here are mistaking me for him - every time they stop me they ask if i have any firearms in the car!

Come to think of it, I'm not sure if the TV pictures were of war torn Beirut or down town High Wycombe!

Mate you should see it round here - iv never seen so many police! Thankfully im well out of the main town where all the shits going down but there were major fights on saturday night when i was in town.
Anyone who has ever been into the town center will know why im not at all surprised why there have been so many arrests there........

I know the town well as I worked there for 2 years.
It was OK during the day but it did have a "feel" about the place on the few evenings I spent out.
For nights out we used to go to Maidenhead. A good night to be had at the Honeypot followed by Smokeys!

You know the place so i bet your not really surprised about all the arrests either!
As far as a good night out goes, we normally head to watford or windsor but the honeypot is a great laugh

Its not over round here either - the police went into my mates work today and asked for the CCTV tapes for the last 6 months which watch the flats opposite.
Their also searching the woods near where i walk our dogs.
I tell you guys, its scary when this kind of shit gets so close to home!

Hehe, ace. The e30 does seem a badboy car.

Especially after that guy bought the m3 with the drugs compartment in the fuel tank.

Yeah the e30 always is going to be a wannabe gangsta/drug dealer/terrorist car
I am toying with the idea of putting my 318i through the auction as there are loads of young lads willing to pay daft prices for e30's as there only ever one at most so they fight over it!!

I may be wrong but I assume the war isn't affecting you too much? (is bahrain the little island hiding in the corner behind saudi arabia?)
Do we have any Israeli or Lebanese Zoners?

beat her at what? Space Invaders?
anyone who drives around on bumpy roads with the barrel of a gun leaning on the seat front POINTING UPWARD and the butt in the seatwell is a feckin eejit.
I don't think these expert fighters have heard of the safety catch.
Haven't they seen Pulp Fiction?

Bahrain has a majority Shia population, the war itself does not affect us personally but gets the lads a bit wound up on a Friday, the Hezbollah flags get flown and thanks to mr bush and his friends support for the ''extreamist'' groups is at an all time high in the middle east, they really are seen as heros. The local rags are also slightly bias toward an anti us/uk/israel slant, most probably dont care but the local mosques tell them what to think and as most are fairly un educated they believe what ever the mosques preach.
but definately the number of Hezbollah car stickers/flags have increased dramatically. The so called war on terror obviously has not been thought out by people who have lived in the middle east.
off my soap box, this is an E30 site

they are driven entirly by god, if they are shot by their own gun or otherwise it would be the man upstairs doing it, not because they didn't put their safety catch on.

I know - I used to live in an arabic country
The Will of Allah
Insh'Allah (phonetically) ?
But it's also about show - the BEST way to have your gun in an E30 is flat on the seat pointing away from you, so you can pick it up and shoot quicker, but then the the passers-by can't see the gun - that's not the Arabic way.
No offence intended....
