This runty little indian or Pakistani pr*ck in Swindon tried selling my brother this shed that had 150,000 miles on the clock and not the 115,000 he advertised, its alo got a completely smashed windscreen and smoked like a chimney, I dont know his name or if anyone here knows the little bitch but be warned.

My brother actually bought it on ebay but refused to pay for the rust bucket

didnt know E30's came with drivers and passenger airbags as stated on his ad

I brought a E30 off ebay which also stated needs some TLC, turned out it needed fucking intensive care. Had it for 5 months and its now at the bottom of my garden being scrapped.

A year later the guy emails me to say he needs my address so he can transfer the car over to me as he got a tax reminder for it. LOL

He should have sent the V5 that i filled out for him on the day i purchased it

So should i give him my address :? Nah fuck him, may teach him a lesson.

ive been there dude and learnt a valuable lesson! never trust EGAY TITS!!!

always check a car out before you bid, you can get away with small items such as wheels etc but with something like a car you should always view it first.

Read the Guys Feedback, the bad feedback is all from his buyers, and it seems its not the first or last time

I got lucky recently.... The car was exactly as described except he'd advertised it with aircon (thinking the oil-cooler was the rad????). I let it go cos the rest of the car was well worth the money.

Trouble with Ebay is you tend to look at cars that are miles away. In Autotrader for example you only see cars within a reasonable distance (as a rule).

I've had a few run ins with these muppets from ebay over the years. They are a nightmare to buy from and even worse to sell to!

Just to point out - I don't see why your making a point about the background of the seller (Pakistani/Indian) - it is totally ireelvant. A prick is a prick irrespective of where he may be from.

To be fair - I first saw my M3 when it was on ebay. I did not bid because i couldnt get to him to see it in time. The auction ended with the reserve not being met so i went to see it and it was 100% as described so i bought it there and then.

Just goes to show there are honest ebay users out there!

I was only saying that as that is the best description of him I had, as to give a better chance of anyone recognising him by his ebay name.

A mate of his is registered on piston heads and he may also be a member here and himself, his mobile number is 0777407402# and the car was in Swindon

By the way my brother is still looking for a nice cabriolet if anyone has one, this has left him over £700 out of pocket, money for him and his mate to get the ferry from Guernsey where we live, the car up and back to Swindon, to stay the night and for the £200 deposit. the little c*nt needs a kicking, im sorry for any percieved racism but it really wasnt meant that way and rest assured if this happened on our soil and not somewhere where you are a sitting duck he wouldnt have gone home with all his teeth !!!

i purchased my turd off of ebay (not sure thats a good advert tbh), and it was exactly as described. it was about twenty miles from my house so i had a look over it before i bid on it.

i think thats the only way to stay safe on these things unless its very cheap?

rossle,

all comments taken on board, I was sure you didn't mean it in the wrong way but I know alot of people could potentially be offended hence why I mentioned it. I think a more appropriate way of putting it would be "Asian origin".

Anyway, it's good we know about this guy. I had a look at his ebay ads and feedback. Not good!

I bought my Msport off ebay and it was described as the Best in the Country. Well the seller must have lived in some jungle cause it was a dog of a cer :D Wheels were buckled, roof didnt work, engine pissed all sorts of liquids on Dips's drive in minutes and the car was basically fcuked, but i knew it was getting stripped down anyway so it didn't bother me that much otherwise he'd have pood my petrol money on the spot winkeye

Shame cause it actually looks like a nice car in the photos :(

Pictures are very decieving......I drove for 3hrs to see an ebay 'Minter'. After finding out it had been in a front end smash, not put back together right, rust everyway, each panel was a different colour, leaking more oil than a 1982 Fiesta popular......this was without a test drive.

Then he had a go at me for wasting his time, and argued its never been in an accident!! ....All he did was come out his house in his slippers with tomato sauce all round his mouth for fcuk sake.... I drove for 6 hours, and I wasted HIS time! C**T!

Lesson learnt

On topic,
It does look clean in the photo, problem is you dont know how old some of these photos are on ebay. They could be 3 years old for all you know !
Shame. Its always a risk you take on egay.

Bootyman...did you take it back to him and show him what an example of "Best in the country" really should be looking like! Damn fool! Thats one hell of a transformation.

I aso bought my car off Ebay but viewed it first. Bought it for £450! Bloody bargain if you ask me. Body work was shite but engine was still pulling strong.

What the hell does "caveat emptor" mean?!

'Caveat emptor' = let the victim beware . I have to agree with Dave on this one, i am no fool (fat and ugly yes!)
but i would never buy a car blind unless it had been inspected by someone i knew and trusted or it was scrap money.
The world is full of deluded scumbags and thieves, some of these idiots actually think that the cars they are selling are really good , some of them know they are scrap and are chancing their arm, why gamble with your hard earned shekels ?.
People put cars on ebay to sell,so they generally know how much they want . So why not go around with the dollars early on in the auction,if you like it ,have a haggle and a deal,if not ,youve wasted some time looking at scrap same as you would looking for a turd in the autotrader.
I have bought lots of cars from ebay , most of them by waving money in the sellers face before the auction ends.
I have also sold a few cars on ebay and apart from a few cheapies all have been sold beforehand with the added bonus of not having to give ebay any final value fees and the ad only costing £6.00 for lots of info and pics nationwide.
Ebay has transformed car sales world wide, but remember more cars for sale = more scrap and more scumbags!

Its not just ebay you have to worry about when i brought mine i paid over the odds for it just cause it was a 'M' sport, since ive had it ive spent over 1.8k on it so far and that is just to sort out problems that we already present before i brought the car. It will be worth it in the end i know ;-) and like bootyman said the bloke who sold it to me can read about it in the mags lol
