i appreciate all comments simon although some obviously dont

what sort of power do they have? i dont know what year it was as it had a private plate.now ive sorted all my running problems i think my next investment should be the stage 3 conversion(330-340bhp) for £500

Any idea how much torque you're making Fuzzy?
Beginning to wonder what I can keep up with after these posts!
Closest I've come to giant slaying is a nice new 330i, the driver of which looked somewhat puzzled

Couldn't post the power plot up could you? We can work out the torque from that
Be interested to know!
Accodring to a couple of mags I've got kicking about, the 2.7 boxter has 240bhp and does 0-60 in 6.2s, while the 3.2S has 276bhp and completes the 0-60 dash in 5.5s.
Wouldn't stop me having a pop at a 3.2 though

The Boxter is a very capable car, the 2.7 still has plenty of poke compared to a standard 325i.
the 3.2 is obviously very quick, 5.5 0-60 is not too shabby at all.
I think your touring is probably a bit heavier too, james, so I wouldnt be too disheartened-and get that next stage done

The boxster is a very nice car indeed, handles brilliantly. Shame is looks a bit like a hairdressers car. Only the S is worth bothering with, the standard boxster is a car for looks only IMHO. The S is quite quick, TBH fuzzy I would expect you to beat one in a straight line, probably not in corners though.
