Seemed like an honest mistake judging by the sound of his e-mail,so I wont be sending the heavies round this time(the misses and her mother),so he's a very lucky boy indeed !!!!!

If you have got a brand new si board for £10 that is good. What is wrong with the instruments have you tryed to sort it out with him.

Not suprised you may have been ripped off mate,ive had so called respected zoners offer me parts that are cheaper to buy from official bmw dealers.While iv,e found most people genuineley helpful,there will always be the odd one driven by greed.Hope you get it sorted.

im not sure who your aiming this at.

im not sure it ive dealt with you or p/m"d you about parts. but you need to remember most people dont have bmw price lists infront of them, nearly all that help out will give you the part for a good price.

nine times out of ten you will get the part cheaper from here. there is the odd case that the part is cheaper from the dealer but they may not know that, they are trying to help you.

so stop assuming the worst in people. as you will be not be helped by anyone.

Dont know you from adam,so you can assume it wasnt aimed at you
unless of course your feling guilty over something.If you had bothered to read what i said you would have seen that i said most people on here are genuine.So im not actually assuming the worst of people i was actually praising most people,but if you think everybody here is out to help each other ,dream on.

I am sorry you have had a bad experience but lets take the sting out of this thread now.

Ian, not having a pop at anyone mate, was just pointing out that not everyone is Mother Teresa.Got my car from someone who was actually a Zoner and if i had been a bit more clued up or if i had discovered this site earlier icould had saved myself a lot of grief and money.Like i said most people here have been more than helpful and willing to help and hopefully i might be able to help someone myself.

We all try and help each other out and it normally works.

Occasionally we get a bad apple and I myself have been hit by a shyster.

Agreed not everyone is Mother Teresa but if JonB had a sex change he would qualify for being Mother Teresa.
