Hello guys...as you know...I am putting a 2.5l in my ol´ 320....I actually
have some sales brochures from 1989 where the differentials are listed
as either 3.73 or 3.91(sport)....so...what do I do: Some of you guys say that I should put in an 3.64 diff....what gives. I think the 3.73 is a good comprimise....or am I wrong????? Please help 8O 8O 8O 8O

yes 3.73 is the best of both worlds and was standard on normal 325i saloons

i'd go with this personally having had 325's with all the ratio's 3.91,3.73,3.64

my 2p worth

Hello simon...ok..that sounds good! One other thing....with egard to oil coolers....the engine I bought DID not have an oil cooler as standard...and IT is an 2.5l.....will it be necessary to install an oil cooler
with inlet on the spoiler and all????

Did some 325´s have oil coolers and others did not???? 8O 8O 8O

i would but some austrailian cars came without oil coolers! and they have to suffer 45 degrees heat and they run fine.

but it's an easy bolt in saftey mod so i would, if u fit a 6 branch rotate the oil filter housing 180 degrees too so u acctually change it with the manifold fitted
