hey anders , ´sup dude :)

u´re thinking of m3 dials dude, they were standard red, all others were white

m3 clocks have oil temp guage where the "økø" meter is

if yours are red, i reckon they have been painted , unless u have m3 clocks

sounds interesting, it could have been an after market job (but one done in that period) , i would take your cars vin to a dealer to see if it came with anything extra. I know that i have seen some SA IS's with red needles and our 333i came with red as well.

dont think it was just m3's as ive got a set in my touring i took out
of an 89 325i cab which had matching red leather!! nice!!
the problem for me is the cab had en elec roof so therefore
has the light on the cluster!!

unless it was an m3 cab, yours was the only 2.5 cab from 89 to have them then.

here is a pic of it, i think it was an 89, i forget ive had so many e30's. perhaps the fuel consumption gauge has been
put in to replace the oil temp?

but all red needle clocks have oil temps , ergo that eco meter is painted.. as are the rest

can u take an extreme close up of a needle?
