Poor luck mate!!!
You may be able to lower the repair cost by telling the people whose wall it is that you thought it would look better with an arch!
Could have been much worse!!

The old girl can be 'unforgiving' sometimes!
You're not the first, and you won't be the last. I knew someone who did the same except replace wall with lamp-post!!
At least the wall moved for you, the lamp-post was a tad more stubborn!!

staying off the road, insurance wrote it off this morning, looking at getting a 325i sport. gotta get another one

Doesn't look too bad!!
See if you can buy it back from the insurance company.
You can then break it for spares and fund the step up to the next level!!
Bring on the SPORT!

cos they are engineering bricks innit! probably built with cement and the rest of the wall was shagged and in lime mortar, very soft and never sets hard. Looks like u could of kicked that wall down before Kev had a go
So the top course locks together almost like an arch does

You're a very lucky boy, but not sure you had to tell the insurance company, but your an honest guy and a good excuse for a sport.

Red doesn't fade if it's looked after
The money you're after is a little too much for me, but good luck with selling it.

What, the wall? I think he's done all right on his own. Great photos, sorry about the car.
