rear axle from a touring 320i to a 316i

hope some one could help me im lookin at buying a cheap 320i touring 1989 so i can put the rear axle/subframe on my 1990 316i 2door so i have discs all round mine is already stripped so it wouldn't be a very hard task

mate.. im fairly sure that all rtourings had rear disc.. the 318 in my local scrapper has them.. wnat me to find out how much for it?

I have all the rear axle bits for sale off my 325i touring. I'm in North East Scotland, where are you?

320 Touring back end will drop straight in, less springs, but you will need handbrake cables as well.
Front struts (again, less springs), would be a usefull upgrade as well.
You'd get the thicker, stronger 53mm struts and the vented discs.
Hardest part of the job will be dealing with the rear beam bushes (which you should renew), and getting off the front part of the handbrake cables.
