Don't know anything about them, but i tried doing business with a company of the same name out near Upton a while ago... made a million promises but never kept to them.....

give them a go and let us know how you get on!

Is this the evo motorsport garage behind iceland, in the alleyway in boscombe??

ok,

I havent personally used the company, so before I go on, please take on board the fact that I am purely going by what rumours I have heard, not what I have experienced first hand.

If its the same evo motorsport that used to exist in Kinson, i've they're a bunch of crooks.... stolen parts galore, if you've had something nicked, it'll be in there for sale 2 days later. Personally I wouldnt use them.... but this is under the presumption that its the same guy/company as in Kinson. The Bournemouth cruise forum (westover) has had several threads mentioning bad experiences.

But, you never know, if you've got your exhaust for a good price, they might turn out to do a good job!

The exhaust is cheap £50 + tenner fitted for a scorpion rear box, the one on ebay at the mo. Have you got a link for the bournemouth cruise site?

Cheers

I wouldn't trust any garage that was based in Boscombe, especially called something as gay as Evo and was highly regarded amongst a bunch of boyracers

Upton is Hamworthy, same area so more than likely the same bunch mentioned earlier in the thread. And based in Boscombe, so you can probably pick up a knocked off TV/DVD when you are there ..... . (With apologies to anybody from Boscome :P :P )

no, it turns out a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend works there, i just wanted to get in contact with the guy.

The friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend, was going to get me his moby number, but i thought i might 'pop in' sometime.

could have guessed it was motorsportpartsuk I've bid on a few of there auctions, everyone gets cancelled before the end of auction, then re-listed again later on :?

I don't have anything against the place, I met this guy yesterday who had good things to say about a car they had built, hence why i want to make contact with the welder there.

Yeah they always have some pretty good cars whenever I go in there. a v12 6r4, weird m3 / mtech touring hybrid thing, and always a couple of e30's.

It's the mtech touring hybrid thing that I've heard of, just want to see the workmanship that's gone into it...

It was about two years ago when I saw it, it did seem like decent quality, although is wasnt finished. ie no interior ect.

Just want to say that a mate of mine has had some alloys nicked off his Pulsar and the trail leads back to Evo Motor Sport. Apprently they were nicked to order.

With that in mind I won't be going anywhere near that place (if its true!, and i've no reason not to believe it)
