how many were imported by BMW UK?

was it 200, 100 of each colour?

Were these light metalic blue and green with a special interior fabric. If so I remember looking at them in a BMW showroom when they were new. Looked very nice

I've always heard they made 500 of the UK with the split being 350 blue and 150 green. Don't quote me though! All on J plates too it seems

They looked really good in the showroom, just wish I had the money at the time, would have bought one of each, run one and put the other in storage until now.

i asked this question a while back, seemed as though no-one had real factual answer.

mine was the neon green as in my sig and its the rarer of the two colours, but they are both lovely i think.

mine is a neon blue i was told there were 200 of each sold in the uk mine is a k plate most i have seen were on a j plate but on the m4 near bracknell last weekend i saw one on a h plate. but i dont know how many were sold around the world ....i saw a 318 design tourer in germany in a metalic purple colour ....i recently had some interior refitted which is still available from bmw for those of you with worn out seats in your design cab(and dont forget its a design edition motorsport edition) in its full title the chap who had fitted my seats had been in the business for a long time told me of a main dealer in london who bought the last 11 or 12 cars and had them all re trimmed in half leather so anyone who has them in half leather now you know where they come from

I got one! i got told 200 of each. i know there is one less green one though. my mates was nicked and burnt out! about to stick an IS lump in mine now!!

bennyboy, got any more pics? that blue is nice, it's one i'd consider if i got another e30. does anyone know if it is only available on convertibles?

And is your suspension standard? Looks good on the fake 'pinas.

Moofles I've only ever seen either of the "Design" colours on cabs if that helps.

i know where there is 1 of these its got a 2.5 in it now and lowered on 18s looks nice but been sat for like 4years now and he still wants £5000 no offers

he will still have it in another 4 years time for that much!

cheers, guess i'd be forced to have a cab then (or a respray but i don't think i could be bothered)
