Just need some views on the price of a 325 cab i have found its a 92 matallic burgundy with white leather, hard top 2 owners 58000 with full bmw history he tells me it is a m3 the leather is a bit cracked the body work is unmarked its up for £6000 many thanks.

considering its a 92 with 2 owners and low mileage, you cant go wrong. What do you mean by its an M3? Its either a 325i or an M3 cab, cant have both. If its mint as you say it is, then may be worth getting specially if the hardtop is included as well as there worth between 7-800 on their own!

It looks like a 325 but it has m3 badges he refers to it as a 325 what would be the difference between them apart from the badges! it has white lotus leather it dosent have rear head rest, original multispoke wheels, the spare has never been on the car.

sounds like a fair price to me if the mileage is genuine and the hardtop is included. Lotus white leather is a motorsport only colour if im correct? If its a 325i motorsport cab then id snatch is hand off

Dodgy, Look at the leather :?

58k and the leather looks like that :?

Mines on 74k and the leather is like new!

Thats how it should look! Another example from another Convertible!

Also, its a trader selling it......So how much did he pay?????

It dont look right to me! Handbrake needs ajusting, simple things like that which has NOT been done! What else has NOT been done!

Remember everyone, This is just my opinion!

The guys talking out of his anal cavaity, If it had a hardtop on all the time! The leather would be mint.....FACT

Also the M20 doesn't have CHAINS.....FACT

The guy selling the car, seems a complete idiot.......FACT

one of 50 built in an awsome colour and it's manual.

Interior can be re done. Low milege, but looking at the seats i'd say there is a good chance it's had a hair cut, unless there is an exhaustive service history to back the milege. tbh i wouldn't be too bothered about the miles because at the end of the day find another one? You will be waiting a very long time no doubt

Sought after car, i'd have that if i had the money, 2.7 pina bottom end 35mm drop job done summer cruiser! plus seats!

dunno about the leather thing steve, the car's over 10 years old and if the leather hasn't been maintained well then it will crack like that. sure if the leather's been well treated it should be fine, but still, i don't think the condition of the leather here has much to do with the mileage.

one of only 50 made!I had a good look through the service. Some of the stamps were missing, all body work checks had been done and a pile of reciepts from tyres to wiper blades. I like the car and think that I can get the leather cleaned as it is very dirty, if it is one of only 50 made, then I think it is worth £6000

So what we have so far is........

Mistreated leather, whatelse has been mistreated??

Low mileage but stamps missing?? That would mean mistreated in my book! Whats 58k, sumit like 13 stamps.

It my well be worth £6k but like I said, the guy selling it dont know shit and If he is selling it for £6k what did he buy it for???

£4.5k for a motorsport, um thats not right for a clean one! Even if the guy is in the trade.

I wouldnt buy it myself but thats what makes us all different!

All of the above is my opinion!

M20s dont have hydraulic tappets......FACT

So dont be calling the guy a complete idiot because not too long ago you were telling people the M20 doesn't have rockers with eccentric adjusters!

I think I will get a RAC report done as I have always wanted one in this colour, just to be on the safe side! It's good to hear other peoples views. If the car checks out then I will get some new seats or a retrim I think that with a good clean and restain thay would look good again.

Where is the car? If its near East Anglia/London i will be able to provide a much better report than the RAC if your interested PM me.

put it this way that is a car that is very sought after particuly in that colour, the fact it is manual will make it appeal even more to alot of folks as most are auto (i like both on 325's)

If u get it back to it's former glory u can't lose in terms of money, they go for more than the price it's up for.

So a grand on a good retrim isn't going to leave u out of pocket in the long term i don't think. I would stick to white for originality as most want these standard ish as they look sooo good as they are.

Colour is  very spunky and with the m-tech kit and wheels makes one awsome different looking E30 cab imo!

If it's straight not too rusty and drives nice don't worry about the rest!

i'm the 11th owner on my alpina and some tossers have owned it and worked on it but like that car, find another that is better etc. Mine is savable and this looks to be the same! It's half the fun doing all the little odds and sods on them too!

it looks like a very nice car.Rare colour and manual gearbox !
Id say its worth the asking price even if it had 100,000 miles on the clock.

I am 99% sure that is not a motorsport cab and i am sure the MOTORSPORT POLICE will back me.

STANDARD LEATHER INTERIOR,DOOR CARDS.
NO LEATHER CENTRE CONSOLE.
NO OBC, WHICH IS A BIT OF A POVERTY SPEC.

I could also be wrong, but looks nice enough.

Cheers

I'd bite his hand off, the leathers cracked because it's been sat in direct sunlight which has dried it out, shame but true

blimey some response on this!

Anyway mate, if its legit and the mileage matches up then go for it. Leather can be redone, sure it can be recolonised, but pics are decieving.

Got one of these myself had it a few years and covered a few thousand miles in the time I had it. (have to enjoy don't ya) winkeye Currently in the garage as some arse keyed it but my brother owns a bodyshop so as soon as it's completed
I'll post some pics. I bought mine with 85k on the clock and beleive me the leather was in better nick than the pics although I had it fully retrimmed since.
With regards to the one advertised Looks genuine but quoted mileage a bit suspect in my opinion.
