My dilemma

Hi all,
I'm hoping that there is someone out there who can help me make up my mind.
I am the owner of a 1986 (C reg) Dolphin grey 325i With chrome bumpers. I am led to believe that it is a very early sport model without the body kit. It has 15 inch BBS's LSD, full sport Recaro's (with adjustable squabs even) and it is very
very quick.
My problem is that, due to a change in circumstances, I will soon be getting rid of the car. It is not without it's problems such as slight pressurisation of engine waterworks after a run ('head?), a bit of tin worm here and there (front of rear arches, rear valance), prop centre bearing rubber, and a few others that I can't think of at the moment.
It's MOT and TAX runs out at the end of April and I am not looking to take it for another one. I have no reason to believe that it would fail though.
Looking around the 'net and ebay, I know that I can make a good few quid by breaking the car and selling the bits - probably more than selling the car complete.
My problem is that I am, like many of you, a car enthusiast and would hate to see this car (a piece of history?) dismantled before it's time, and would rather see someone cherish and enjoy it as I have.
If anyone can help me make up my mind, please do 'cos I can't, and I am driving the missus crazy! (as usual)
What does everyone think?

dont worry mate if you break it, you are going to help out 4/5 E30's with a few bits and bops, its not like they are going to (saxo or a nova). (just think of it as you having a doner card for the car) but after your circumstances if you dont get another one you will be

and then

there

Nice looking car mate, it's got aircon too?
Not many early ones around, I'd say get it sweet again!
Probably just a 325i with a few options such as the seats and LSD. Phone the dealer with the last 7 digits of the VIN and they will tell you what it is.

Yes, it has cot air-con and it still works fine. It has to be the coldest icy blast that I have ever had in a car!
The E30 aircon is very good!
Its a sweet looking car i think you should sell it whole, dont let it die just yet!

Thanks for your comments. It's nice to hear that there are more out there like me and don't want it broken.
It's MOT runs out towards the end of April so I may post it in the 'cars for sale' section around then.
In the mean time, I will continue to use and enjoy it 'till then.
