I beat you to it mate. My new project went there a couple of weeks ago and laid down some impressive power until a Smurf came along and started fucking around with it. Anyway when the bodyshop finishes, she's going back there again along with the Rieger for a live map. I was actually talking to J and Dips about getting a few Zone boy's together and going down there so he can dedicate a whole day to us and we can have some fun and also get our cars sorted at the same time
Ho and this thread is about Chipped UK so no crap about Bexley's and their amazing Technicolour Coat either please

This thread is likely to get locked anyway

Why would it get locked? J is banned from here, but that dont mean we cant have work done by him or talk about our happiness if he does good work for us. I'm sure the mods are not that narrow minded mate so it wont be locked

Nice one, chap...
Jay did my 325 a few weeks ago, in December and he was chatting about getting a RR then...Glad to see he has it all up n running, now...
Ian, your figures are pretty similar to what I got on mine with a chip from Jay...
I wrote a little review (link in my sig), and 4 months on, I am still pretty happy with the results...

Suppose there's no point in attempting anything like this with a 318iC then ? Just looking at the cheapest option. New plant could cost up to a grand
Cheers

So with all this praise of Chipped Uk

What am i to think having got a Zone wild chip? are they Crap, if so someone's taking the piss!I ask because since it was fitted i've had a few issues, most recently during Mot time the mechanic asked "did i know it was running lean" i asked what does that mean in everyday speak, "lacking fuel" was the reply and potential engine damage.
Ok so the Zone chip aint exspensive but i for one thought it would be the way to go, but when the owner of the Zone shop states to mates go to chipped Uk i begin to doubt my choice !!!!!

the chip will not sort the idle fuelling oput, thats what the CO ajuster on the AFM is for, the chip will not run lean, they are set to run @ 0.85 lambda @ WOT which equates to a safe and engine friendly 12.5:1 AFR, spot on for power too.
I stand by the zone chips, but this thread isn't about my product

Just to answer this and make a few things clear:
My conversation with Ian over the phone was nothing about chips and he can confirm this. It was about Jayson having a rolling road and maybe he should go over there and say hello.
It wouldnt make sense for me to recommend ChippedUK's chips over the Zone shop ones. Surely you can see it would cost a sale if I did this and that makes no sense at all.

lol look boys im just happy we can all chill!! i cant wait to get me new H&R cup kit ooooooooooooo!! yes!
I just spoke to jayson and his message was as follows :
I would like to point out that we have now rolling roaded 3 cars with the zone chips and each one has given at least 7hp with the chip as apposed to without the chip, 2 run lean but a quick setting of the AFM fixed this problem which is what we advise.
There is nothing wrong with the zone chips and this is a good point of call for zoners to get there upgrades.
Chippeduk is more set to emulation and tuning whereas the zone chips offer outstanding value for money and a point of call if you ever have any problems.
Anyway im a neutral party i like both partys!
