Anyone been done a good turn by a Zoner?

Just thought this post would make everyone feel warm and fluffy inside after that stuart falkirk post (and no one is allowed to say ANYTHING on that subject) as I think there will be lots of posative responses to this one.
I went to pick up my new (to me

) Sport leather for the touring last week, got to Theo's in Uxbridge only to find I had no money in my bank account, theving bank bastards had held on to a transfer I had done the week before longer than they usually do, and stupidly I'd been paid by cheque that morning!
Anyway we trie pay pal and a dirct bank transfer which I mucked up by managing to transfer my last £50 to one of my mates! Anyway Theo let me leave with the seats in the pick up and only £35 in his pocket as colatteral on the understanding I'd send him a cheque for the balance the next day, which of corse I didn't do cos I'm thieving bastard........because I couldn't fint the cheque book, so did a transfer when the funds cleared miraculously the next day after a visit to my bank
Still has to come through mind, but the funds have left my account. An hope fully Theo will report money recieved tomorrow.
Anyone else had an act of supreme generosity bestowed upon them by a zoner they have never met before?

Yes, You as a matter of fact! You know what I mean.
Also CharlE30 came round my house and lent me his engine hoist, he didn't know me from Adam but left it here for weeks!

Many good generous and clean transactions with Zoners. No negatives, many positives.
JonB excellent - but comes from Bristol - poor guy !!!
Pacerpete Top knowledge - talks like Ronseal
Johnna top man - a better communicator hard to find
NickE30cab - Dogsbollocks straight talking guy who can and does help
Placey first class - knows jackshit about sound systems though
Wayne brilliant - gone but not forgotten
All mods - superb
Maasterbates aka Andy - a bible on wheels
Tim S good communicator and looking good tks - real helpful guy
Many more but memory crap !!!!!
Apart from recent postings (no need to go into that again) Zone trading is normally very good, its the normal routine where the very small minority let the side down.

I've now dealt with both Widge and Theo, and can safely say that they are both what the zone is all about in my opinion. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend either of them as sellers.
(By the way Widge it was £50 for those BBS I'm getting from you tomorrow isnt it!!)

got some free stuff off richy325, top bloke, so is simon, he drove over an hour from home on really shitty day for me to view a car with the possibility of buying when i had only been on here a month or two and had no reputation to my name when he could have the sold the car in days to someone with a good rep and would have went to his front door...top bloke
several people i have bought stuff and have all been very very trustworthy, honest and genuine, even bought a fire extinguisher and they posted it before they sent me their bank details to pay for it...now that was unnexpected

What a cool topic
YES! My car wouldn't run without Ant's tireless efforts coming down to map it for me!
And the idle would still be pretty rough if Andy335Touring hadn't lent me his air flow gizmo

Dave, im really flattered mate, I couldn't have sent you back home without the interior, would have been like telling a child in a sweet shop that they werent allowed anything!
Iain (less2303) - can't say how much I appreciate the comments, again, I can only say how trusting and easy going Iain is (sent cash through the post) and same goes for Chris (billgatese30) sent me large sum via the bank without hesitation.
Jonb - once again nothing but compliments to the man, sorted me out when a deal we did came unstuck, mainly due to my then total lack of knowledge about e30s - gave me £30 back - which I used to go out and get brilliantly drunk.
HartgeH27 - did me a great deal on some wheels, when he could quite easily have made alot more money selling them elsewhere, or even just at the market price - true gent - definately owed a beer, Cheers Iain!
Brown-nosing over.

Mark (Zaust) is a top bloke!
Went round his today and collected a 3.73 lsd (M3 Diff) off him he has kept for me but could have used himself as his one was fucked, gave him half the money today and the other half will be given to him next weekend.
I have already met the geesa before but we don't know each other that well but what a bloke
Neil (Nelly=Also top bloke!) has also helped me out in other way's and has offered to help me fit the LSD on Sunday next week.
These guy's are fucking brilliant and are also helping me out with finding a doner 325i for my project to whip everyone's arse up the strip at Santa Pod

So my experience of buying a zoner's car with a cracked cylinder head. That I knew nothing about. And him taking me to county court, after I stopped the cheque, to recover his full asking price is the exception rather than the rule then?.
But I'm not bitter!.
Cheers Gareth.

Well apart form the
TWO 2.5's you now have
May this be the end of the 320 plague!!
It's not pretty, but it would make you get your arse in gear Daz, and a good engine is even better when the price is free!!

Na on the Chevin on the way to Otley to the scrappy. Hope he was annoyed by being over taken by a mechanic in a hoodie with the top down in an old BMW!!!
PS Daz change your sig note now, you have 2 325i'S

Have to be:
JonB for his tireless work on my turd and deals we've done and help he's given me
And Eko for the free mirror and chek computer on my visor pod which would have cost 2x as much to send, but didn't!
