when u look at though money well spent, scratch under £200 a year for constant road works, crappy road surface, no parking, nightmare traffic .. well worth it, im all for it having 2 cars 2 tax each year!!!!

Did you see the kind note on the renewal about the budget. Apparentlyyou could tax the car from the 15th. and beat the increase.

Ive got two car's to tax within 6 weeks (and the same 2 to MOT  ) It really is ridiculous given the state on the roads and that we pay somthing like 10p tax per mile by now with petrol.

Those who tax their cars 6 months at a time, how can you complain about it being too much?

You're throwing money away by not getting a 12-month disc.

I earn £151 per week... after nursery fees of £100 I dont have much to play with, and have to buy 6 monthly as I never have much cash at one time, and rarely have a car more than 12 months.

My renewal still isn't here! Went to the P.O yesterday and they said "All you need is your Reg Doc, MOT and insurance"
Wish I'd known that before the Budget.

I get £15 worth of Post Office saving stamps a month. Beats the hell out of paying nearly £20 a year too much to our wonderful Government.
