Guss how much did you pay for it initally? Really and truly the values are strong as there rare and sought after and as yours is in pristine condition, had to refer to pics you should definitely get your money back on it. The hardtop alone as its colour coded is worth around Ԛ£1000. Its hard to put a price on one, they vary. Seen some go for Ԛ£3500, others Ԛ£5000 and more.

with a hardtop its worth 7k+ all day, but like they say its worth what someone will pay.

Guss know's its worth a lot more, when Andrew at WLN got 10 grand for one just like this. With no Hardtop. I have seen both cars and Guss's car is in a different league. Guss's has a lot less miles and has been better looked after.
4 grand for a 12 month warranty?.
It's like I said, dont even bother trying to sell anything on this site, Something that has real class gets labeled with the dross.
I know to my cost what its like buying a car from a Zoner, and just ain't funny believe me.
I know you carn't tarnish everyone with same brush, just letting off some steam.
6 grand no way.
Guss dont sell the car, you will get loads of phone calls offering you stupid money, time wasters who have no intention of coming to view the car. And doubting its Motorsport.

Selling the Motorsport - and look at the weather outside here in Oxfordshire! What a shame. That car is stunning.
When I was looking for my cab I would have paid up to Ԛ£7k. As with most discussions on E30 values, it's about finding the right person with the money to buy it. You have to be a bit of a fan to put that sort of money into an E30 as opposed to an E36. (cue arguments as to which is the better car).
I had always wanted an E30 cab and as it's used only on nice days so the practicality didn't matter.
How about calling WLN to see what they will offer you? If you're happy with cԚ£7k and they offer you it then great. Just don't be too upset when you then see it up for Ԛ£10k.
Whatever you decide I hope it works out for you.

I think that is really top wack and way overpriced,i would go as far as to say mine is on par or if not better as it does not need a respray and is totaly orginal with low miles and i paid nowhere near what he wants for his.
Plus i think the auto is better suited for the motorsport convertibles.
Cheers

Il'l try again.
That WLN car sold for over Ԛ£10,000. high miles with a very expensive respray.
I have personally seen and inspected both cars, we are talking about in this thread.
Guss's lovely motor has been totally cherished to higher standards than any specialist car dealer would. From what I remember it has a real quality ICE install, colour coded Hardtop and lots of what I call 'attention to detail'.
Anyone who has seen it will back me up.
Manuals are far more desirable.
The car is only worth what someone is willing to pay, I think I know a little about these cars and that car is mint and in my opinion worth the figure I quoted.

The thing is anyone who has ever moded a car will know the costs involved, so you as the seller, want as much of your money back as possible and the buyer's want the car for as cheap as possible. The best thing to do is advertise it in as many places as you can and go with the highest offer. Even better if you didn't have to sell like we talked about before.
This makes me poo myself cause if i ever have to sell the Rieger, i wouldn't even tell hardly anyone here for the simple reason that the car stands me in at nearly Ԛ£50k and i'd be looking at at least Ԛ£20k back. Question is who would pay that for a E30 and i wouldn't tell hardly anyone here cause this place has now degenerated into a place where everyone jumps on you if you dare to ask what they cosider a high price for your car and it quiet sad really.
At the end of the day, if someone likes your car enough, they will pay the asking price for it, so ask whatever you feel is fair and see what happens

I agree with you gazza325cab. If, like me, you wanted a rare Motorsport and a standard 325 cab just wouldn't do then you will pay what many people consider crazy money. I ended up getting mine from Munich Legends - mainly cos I'd heard good things about them and hoped it would of been fully checked over before I took it away [my mechanical knowledge is zero and it would of been my luck the car would of broke on my way home if I'd got it privately!!!].
If guss' cab is as good as it looks in the pics [plus having the hardtop], I reckon Ԛ£9k aint out of the question - though it would have to be top of the top. Remember, getting any mint condition cab is getting harder and harder all the time. I reckon the more standard they are though, the more dosh you can ask - you mess with the suspension, huge rims etc, you hurting it?!?!

It's a good thing i'm fcuking mine up with huge rims, fat ICE, new interior and a flip paint in 50 colour respray then isn't it

It's even better cause it's got a hardtop, comes on a J plate (1 of 50) and it's a manual too
Honestly though. I appreciate the rarerity of the car and as i plan to keep it for a couple of years at least, i dont mind changing it suit my taste, but everything that comes off the car is going back in the garage and if i ever decide to sell, it can be returned to orginal in half a day, including suspension, interior etc. The only thing that wont go back to original is the 2.7 engine
I havent seen Guss's car so cant comment, but i know other Msport owners who have seen his car and all have said how mint it is and if WLN can ask and get Ԛ£10k for one, then there's no reason why he shouldn't try and get top dollar for his. I'll be asking Ԛ£15k for mine, plus a night with the buyers wife (Only if nice) so consider yourselves lucky Guss only wants the money

Yeah i do mate and i atually asked who's it was as it looked really nice
Palerider, not everyone likes LHD car's. I agree with you that an M3 Cab is a far better car than a Msport, but the 2 cars are completly different and are driven by completley different people. I myself dont mind LHD and i've had several M3's in my time and given the option again, there would be no competition, but millions of Brits prefer RHD so there is a market for both

WATCH THIS SPACE

I'm going to make it look like BMW should have with flared arches, badboy bonet, and massive whale tale to aid with downforce and if the Motorsport Police say anything, they will get chopped up and fitted with a human kit too
