Hi does anyone have any experience with using wheel hub adapters ?, like changing your regular 4 stud fitment to 5 stud fitment. I am considering getting a set of hub adapters if they are safe, any help would be great !!

I looked into this a while back.
I even bought the adapters from a guy in the USA.
but once i had fitted them, the offset was 46 iirc and any wheels would stick out from the arches.
so i sold them, and gave myself a slap for waiting 6 weeks for 4 hunks of metal that i couldnt use.

I've just bought a complete M3 suspension setup, think this is the only way to go. Expensive but proper!

Definately don't use adapters.
Think about it. If aluminum was strong enough to hold up to the forced the hubs would have been aluminum from the factory. but they are hard steel instead.
Its really easy to strip/tear threads out of aluminum, even threads that large. Go try to do that to a comparible steel threading.
