There was some interest in this recently, had mine today and fitted it, much better than the small standard E30 M3 seal, this could look nice on normal E30 too..?

Looks very nice Simon,

Will this seal fit an MTECH - 2 car (non M3)

Have you got the M3 Evo bonnet seals to match?.

Cheers Gareth

That's what I'm thinking..that is the reason for the question mark..someone needs to try and fit one to they're sport now!

I've also got the bonnet seals, but I need to re-align my bonnet, looks like the bodyman didn't put it back on quite right!

What is a normal E30 Simon??.

An E30 that isn't a spotless white M3 by any chance?. winkeye winkeye

Cheers Gareth

Nah, I put it into the bodyshop to get some small things done for the guy, and he pulled out, and I couldn't be bothered to put it in the trader and prepare for the timewasters, so it's staying here with me!

Just spent another Ԛ£1000 on it this month!!

oh well, it could have been worse i suppose

at least you have done the things that would have bugged you otherwise had you have planned to keep it

how far does a grand go on an m3 anyway......

Simon,

I take it your running smoked rear's?.

Have you put the black stripe in the centre like Darryl has done on his?.

I think I might get my smoked fronts sorted soon.

Do you think that seal would work on your touring?.

You could take it off your M3 and put it on your Touring and report back to the fellow zoners on your progress.

Cheers Gareth.

Haha...not far!

Ԛ£580 for supersprint race system
Ԛ£230 for new electric fan and evo sport seals
Ԛ£350 sport evo rear spoiler (at last!!!)
Hmm adds up to more than a grand

Gareth, I have the smoked rears, but am not running the stripe in the middle of the lamps.
I could have tried the seal on the touring first, but the missus uses it for work, and I'm not taking the seal back off the M3 because it's sticky back!

James, the sport evo seal is a lot thicker than the standard M3 seal, and fills the gap.

Player6...I will get the part number tomorrow for you.

Ive done it and its not going to fit on a stock E30 without lots of swearing and strong glue. (the strong glue i wont use on my car)

Simon only the Centre seal is from the Evo sport the two side ones are used on all M3s. Unless im not reading the ETK correctly.

Must be reading it wrong?

It's all one seal, and is more then twice the size as stock E30 M3 seal, fills the gap much better.

Myabe you are looking at the seal that goes above the grill?

OK, just checked the ETK.

Andy, sport evo bumper seal is one piece, standard M3 is a 3 piece seal, this is where the confusion lies.

For those who wanted the part number, it's 51 11 2 233 055

Bought mine from C3, not sure on cost, as I bought a load of other parts the same time, I would imagine about Ԛ£30..

I get it to be Ԛ£13, but that part number shows the centre section.

Ill order it in see what i get.

Should be much better to fit if its larger.

Ԛ£13..even better!

Don't take the pictures on the ETK as granted, they mean nothing!

When I removed my standard seal, it was in 3 pieces, I assumed it had been cut by whoever fitted it.
