What’s this??

Just on the last straight of putting everything back together after taking the dash out.. and I’m left with two odds which I should remember but don’t
Both are under the knee roll trim. I’m thinking the socket is for cruise control or something? So should remain empty. It bolts to the DME bracket… but the plug I’ve no idea. Any help appreciated.

Anything to do with the "crap" headlight adjustment system ?

The second pic could be the connector for an OBC 'gong' , the first may be for the airco' idle control, but not sure on either! Definitely nothing to do with headlight leveling system.

You’re right about the plug. It’s got to be for the dong, although I haven’t had it fitted for about 10 years since getting a new under dash panel.. but yeah the first pic I’ve no idea. I can only assume it’s meant to be empty as I’ve got no more plugs!

The first pic I am pretty sure is for input signals to the DME for automatic and Air con idle increase . Black grey wire increases idle by about 50rpm with 12 v on it.
the second pic is for OBC unit that usually sits above the DME if it has one.
