I am looking to re furb my e46 wheels but this will apply to any alloy wheels.
Many years ago I had access to an electric one inch disc grinder which was all Fine but was very harsh on ally.
Since then new stuff has come on the market which is less harsh as in 3M etc but I have no Idea what to buy bearing in mind I have a small budget as this will be for only eight to ten wheels.
Links would be good and please let me know , what you know !!

Cheers Mart.

Hi Mart,

i had my alloys refurbed for approx £60.00 per wheel and they refitted the tyre and balanced it etc- looked amazing.

im all for DIY but at such a price it was cheaper to let the proffessionals do it- happy to send you details of the place - im in Bolton only about an hour from you.

Regards

:-)

Didn't I read somewhere that kerb damaged wheels are going to be in the MoT?

if I get a nick I use alloy two part and sand it down then some matching spray.
