Well finally got fed up with lousy bass in the vert...I drive a lot so really struggle with roof down audio from my Continental and Ground Zeros.
Made a cardboard model of the Pioneer under seat unit ...150 euros from Amazon ..and found it would sit hidden ...so I got one and just finished fitting it.
It will take a tapped in feed from the rear speakers...easy to achieve...power from the fag lighter via supplied fuse and an earth fitted to the rear handbrake bolt. So all the wires go under the carpet where the air blowers are beneath the drivers seat.
Pioneer TS-WX130DA
Unit turns on when it detects audio. I ran the remote to the glovebox.
I wish I'd done this years ago...its bloody amazing...effortless base...transforms the vehicle...

Get us some pics and videos mate!
I've also had this issue with the cabby sound system! I wired in a 10" sub into the boot but its still not enough, I was thinking of going down the twin 8" route in the indented part in the boot but I'm reluctant to lose all that boot space..

I travel to work and the boot is full, no chance for me to use the space for audio at all.
I took the beast out today...clocked 160kph on the auto bahn....roof down...sounds up...perfect..totally fine...great solid bass ...a really enjoyable thrash !!
I'll get some pics up over the weekend...and a clip to demonstrate...

This shows a bit of the install, you dont need to fix it to the floor...it's heavy and sits on the carpet under the drivers seat...
Shows cables running under carpet....2 phono leads which tap into the rear speakers...they are unaffected by this and work as normal.
Earth cable goes to the rear handbrake bolt and the fused power line to the fag lighter.
Leave enough cable length to allow the unit to sit forward in the footwell so you can throw the seat back in then slide unit under the seat
I put the remote in the glove box and fed the cable through the tunnel and under the carprt.

and here's a video test with good sound - view on your home theatre or with good headphones - listening on your phone won't reveal much!!
All music copyright me...from 50Hz and Up
I think Youtube has added some AGC ( auto gain control ) which doesn't help but you get the idea.
There's no vibration at all - very solid audio experience with level and crossover/phase control if you need it.

I'd been looking at fitting one of these for a little while and was hoping to get round to it soon. Great to see one working,

No reason other than as the driver I get the full effect although really it makes no odds at all....bass sounds much the same anywhere in the car...

Hi Mart...
Mine is a DA suffix and costs about 30 quid more...I can't find the difference between them...Pioneer don't provide much detail in the specs...
I'll search a bit more...does the EA have the remote?....ah ha no it does not...so EA is the same but without the funky controller which I like!
