Good afternoon Brian

Long time no speak and I hope you are keeping well?
Just popped on as I seem to have forgotten everything I once knew about e30’s and knew you would have the answers.

Just clearing out my shed and came across some parts and can’t remember what’s what with them.

Blue relay/Ecu thing pictured below? Something to do with the obc or factory alarm at a guess?

Also are the looms for rear electric windows sided or are right and left the same?

Just trying to de clutter and appreciate any help you can give.

Regards

Jules aka spadge 👍

Hello again! You thinking of coming back into the fold? There's always room for an E30 in your fleet.

Blue box is the one that sits above the engine ECU on cars with an OBC and the additional alarm/immobiliser that was fitted to some cabs. Cars with just an OBC have a similar shaped black box with hardly anything in it.
Never really considered whether the rear window looms are handed, but I can think of no reason why they should be. The only possible difference would be in the rubber shroud over the wires from the pillar to the door and how it folds when the door is shut, but I suspect they all started the same, but have just taken on a bit of 'set' from being folded for thirty years.
