E30 Zone

Hi

Just wondering if anyone happens to know the part numbers for the rear top mounts, car in question is a 325i convertible.

Use E46 convertible top mounts. They are stronger.

^^ Sure about this Ben, don't they need reinforcement plates ?

Ben's correct. They look identical to E30 ones in all dimensions, but the central steel bush is barrel shaped, rather than a plain parallel sided tube, so is much less likely to detach itself from the rubber.
The reinforcement plates are a Z3 part, IIRC, but I've never seen a need for them on any E30.

Fit all E30s, but, if fitting aftermarket dampers, a load spreading washer must be fitted underneath the mount. On OE dampers, the washer is part of the dust shroud, and often gets binned with the dampers..

E46 rear top mounts are all the same regardless of body shape or engine size

here you go, cheap as well.
