Just had the injectors cleaned by injectortune and replaced the fuel filter. The car cranks but will not start?
Any ideas where to look first?
Cheers

Have you "tapped" the injectors, sometimes they stick after cleaning - did you plug all the loom back in? daft questions but relevant.

Cheers Paul.
No I didn't tap them. Shall I do that with them connected to the car or remove them again?
Yes I think I plugged them correctly- the plugs for the injectors are numbered 1-6, number 1 being the front of the car?
Cheers

Have you put them back in to the engine?

So just taken the fuel hose off on the injector rail and nothing came out. Am I right in saying that fuel should come out after cranking? Or have I not turned the car over enough for fuel to get to the front?

Out of interest what made you get them cleaned in the first place and does the car run better,it just I've been thinking of getting mine done.

Injectors that have run for more than 60,000 miles (around 120,000,000 operations) are going to be out of spec. and unbalanced. They will be slightly clogged, which will weaken the fuel mixture, and they may well leak when closed, which will enrich the mixture.
If you are extremely lucky, these two defects will cancel each other out exactly on all six cylinders, so the effect of reconditioning the injectors will be minimal, but for those of us who don't expect to win the national lottery with the first ticket we buy, the chances are that having them done will be the most cost effective 'tuning' that you ever do.

As Brian said. Mine had never been done and I was getting poor mpg and the car was ever so slightly hesitant on acceleration. I haven't fully taken the car out yet but will report back. I think doing this as mentioned as well a service (oil, spark plugs, fuel filter etc) will also be an effective 'tuning' to your car.

I had mine cleaned by injector tune ,I experienced an instant improvement in how the car starts and it's a lot smoother on tickover .

Mine were done, but now one of them dribbles and the car has poor hot starting due to flooding and pressure loss - gonna change them back to my old set.

In that case, it hasn't been done properly. Send the offending injector back to whoever serviced them.

Dribbling how? You put oil on the O rings before installing them? Helps with reseating the injectors back into the rail/engine.

Had mine done by injector tune, make a difference when they went back in. Much smoother on idle, and more responsive on acceleration. The data sheet didn't show much imbalance before and after, but I had soaked them in liquimoly break cleaner fir a week before hand and they were filthy. Also injector tune replaced the filters o rings and pintle caps some of which were knackered. About £80 fir 6 I think
