Hi there,
I recently purchased a facelift Laguna Green 325 convertible with cream interior however there are a few problems id be keen to get some help on.
- The electric mirrors do not work
- The cold and warm air do not blow
- The rev and MPG bits on the speedometer do not work
Im also missing a few interior parts which im keen to hear if anyone has available
- Facelift underdash
- Two struts for the rear roof lid on the convertible (to keep this up whilst folding the roof in)
- Original ending to the light pull switch (its currently silver and pretty ugly).
- Handbrake and auto gear lever pieces. Currently have aftermarket.
- An unbroken handle to open the convertible roof section
- HVAC panel in great nick
- 'Dashboard covering' - as its known on OEMparts. Mine is held together with bluetac, and the bolt and thumb screw.
- Also need a drivers right side bolster (0295), natural colour.
Thanks!!

Lovely choice of car. Much prefer the facelift cabs. to the older ones.
Do the reverse lights work?

Thought you may like it, I saw that you have the same colour combination.
Ill need to check the reverse lights when I get home later today. Would them not working be tied to any of the other problems I mentioned?
Thanks

The reverse lights do work.
Anyone have any tips on how to fix the warm and cold air flow, the electric mirrors and the speedometer?

It's rare in my experience for the motors in the mirrors to fail. It'll be the switch or the fuse. Pry the switch out of the door pull and check its properly connected assuming the fuse isn't bust.
Sounds like your clocks are goosed as I'm sure the speed and revs come from different sources. The speed comes from a speed sensor plugged into the diff. Again, pull the clocks out and check everything is plugged in. There'll be guides on this stuff in the wiki.

Surprised about that!
The heater fan and door mirrors both get their power via relay K7 in the fusebox, and this relay is switched by power from fuse 10, which also supplies the reverse lights and one of the power feeds to the instrument cluster. If this fuse is blown, it would likely be the source of all your problems, but if the reverse lights work, this cannot be.
It may be that all the problems have completely different and separate causes - we don't know if they all occurred together, or have developed at different times.
Do you have electric windows or sunroof? These are supplied by relay K5, which shares a control circuit with K7, so if these work, the control circuit for K7 is OK.
Pull out relay K7 and use a short piece of wire to link together pins 30 and 87 (marked of the side of the relay) of its socket.
Do the fan and/or mirrors work then? Ignition need not be on.
What, EXACTLY, doesn't work in the instrument cluster, including service interval display?

Thanks for the response Brian.
The car has electric windows, and these do work. Actually the front ones were very temperamental until recently, but work every time now, so it sounds like the fuses are ok.
Ill pull out the relay and try solving the problem as soon as its stop raining, and provide an update on whether the mirrors etc work when pulling out relay K7.
On the instrument cluser its the rev and mpg meters that dont work. Speedometer works, and so does the temp guage. The internal service display is also alight, and indicator lights etc also work.
