has anyone seen ad and whats your opinion?
not savvy about these cars and i also need an auto....

That looks very tidy in the pictures, and with 71000 and fsh it could be a steal at that price.

You'd need to view it, sunroof model, 4 doors and an auto is less desirable then other cars but for £3k or a bit less when negotiating could be a decent but.

Seller, zero feedback so best to check the car over in person.

My advice be quick to view it if its the car you are looking for.

I think that has been up for a while without selling. The BBS wheels look like 14's or is it just me?

Check the MOT history car was on 53K in 2005.

Bbs are 15s but SE's did come with 14s. May have been a factory option or added later. It is a very good price. It was up for 3750 to start with. Sunroof needs a thorough check as do all the common rust points

Only real negatives are the auto box and the fact you will not find matching sport seats

Drainage holes get blocked so the roof rusts. Its just you.

No! Not working is easily cured - just needs a good service,
Rust is what you're looking for, unless the roof has been sealed shut, which signifies most of below.
Rust starts on the four brackets that hold the sunroof panel to the mechanism. It would be a rare E30 that has no rust at all here, but the rust spreads, and eventually appears on the top of the panel as rust bubbles. If it's reached this stage, the panel is scrap.
The rust also affects the sunroof 'cage' that carries the whole mechanism. If this is rusted through, rain water will leak into the cabin, but worse is if there are rust bubbles in the roof around the sunroof. These are not chips in the paint, whatever the vendor says, and require a complete roof replacement (=very expensive) to cure.

If the holes are blocked the roof will most probably be buggered.

I've got exactly the same car as this one - Mine came with the 14 inch alloys and the spec sheet had the code
