Hello

I have owned my cab for over 10 year and unfortunately I have let it fall into a bit of state...well NO MORE!!!(Shouting like I was in an action move)

my goal is to make a diamond schwarz motorsports cab( if they made one I would have brought it)

So the plan

Engine
Hasn't been started in over 5 years. The head gasket went which I had fixed but it continued to drop oil everywhere so I plan to pull the engine and transmission during the August bank Holiday (plenty of time to do some research as I have never done this before, I am very new to wrenching)

Head rebuild or new head(amc)
replace all electric components with OE (bosch,Bremi,Karlyn, etc) or BMW

Replace all belts with contitech
Replace all pulleys tensioner with INA
Replace all cooling with Behr,Wahale etc.
Replace hoses with bmw
Gaskets will be victor or elring....the markup from BMW is f'ing ridiculous....they dont'make the f'ing things!

Suspension
Everything Lemforder (inc e46 top hats and 3 mm pads)except
M-tech springs
Sachs Boge shocks
corteco engine mounts(got to check dealer prices)
skf front and rear bearings

Drivetrain
everything out for a full inspect, powder coating and refil
gkn cv kits or new driveshaft depending on state
3.64-391 lsd (still haven't decide,more research required)

Brakes
calipers powder coated and rebuild kits
disk and pads of course(not pagid...f'ing squealers)
I don't remember having any issues with the brakes but hydroponics may have causes issues with the master/slave d

Clutch
I will wait and see what sachs and skf parts I need.

So is there anything I am missing?? (apart from the massive hole in my wallet)

Have the injectors cleaned, new fuel filter and possibly pump.

All new brake hoses and check the metal brake and fuel pipes.
