What's it worth please?

Back in 2008 I bought a 1991 318is shell. The car was basically complete minus front lower valance lip spoiler and the cylinder head was missing. My plan was to build a race car but as always other projects got in the way and the car has just sat gathering dust in the garage. I am having the garages refurbished at the moment and so it's probably a good time to admit that I am probably never going to get around to doing what I would like to do with the car and give someone else the opportunity. When I bought the car I also bought some black leather recaros from a 325i sport ( I believe) The car has some grey checked cloth recaros fitted and although they need a good clean, they should scrub up nicely. Can anyone give me an idea of the value of the seats and perhaps what the shell is now worth. The shell has some rust on the front and rear valances but looks ok on the scuttle and the wheel arches are all solid. It's a H reg car with smiley headlights. Is it best to simply have a no reserve auction on eBay? Your advice / thoughts would be very much appreciated [/img]

I would say, pull it out, take some good photos and then you'll be in a position to sell it. If the interior is working and no rips, it's 300 quid minimum. In total the lot should be able to get £1500. Place an as on here and if not sold, eBay it.

There's been quite a lot of interest already. If I get time this week I will free the brakes off and get it out of the garage and take lots of pics for you. It seems fair to have an auction and anyone who is interested can come and view before they bid if need be. Thankyou all for your advice

i think you stand a better chance of selling on here and avoid the last price brigade ebay messages ...just my thoughts .
