E30 Zone

Hi everyone. I have acquired my first E30, also my first project!

Just after a bit of help and advice, anything I should be doing, looking for, that sort of thing ect...

It is a 316 Baur. (Don't know much more than that) I think I have managed to attach a picture below.

It has pretty high mileage - 161,000 but the speedo doesn't work so could be more but adds up on the mot history so not far off.
First of all what service parts will it need, other than the usual oils and filters etc..

I am having quite a bit of welding to the sills In the next week or two to get it through its MOT.

I have stripped the interior and would like to replace the carpet when I put it back together. Where is the best place to get a new molded carpet? And being the Baur what body is it based on the 2 door saloon or the cab?

I too have a 316 Baur and love it to bits as well

It is indeed made from the 2 door coupe.
They are becoming quite rare these days so good choice mate

Baur-number B43769-13, looks like it still has the smart deep colour which lapisblau should be. Nice
