Finally got my Sport all sorted and was wanting to get an agreed valuation on the car. Does the BMW car club offer this service or can anyone recommend somewhere that does. What companies are offering good deals on classic insurance at the moment? Thanks in advance.

I've used Glynwood for my old stuff, they have always been cheapest by miles.
The mrs Mk1 caddy renewal was £120 fully comprehensive, for a 30yr old doing 2000miles per year for example.

The bmw car club does do agreed evaluations. I think there is a fee for it though?

Same here - you take at least 6 photos, a comprehensive list of any significant work done and modifications and they willl usually agree it without any aggro of having to get a third party valuation

Does the car need to be taxed & MOTd for them to be able to insure it with an agreed valuation or will they insure it whilst its sorn and without MOT?

They should be able to insure it at market valuation before agreeing a value, you will need it insured to be able to take it for an MoT, unless you trailer it.

Unless you have the car collected and delivered to you by someone at the testing station, where it will be covered by their trade insurance.
