E30 Zone

Only found out today,halfords mix paint,the numty behined the ramp could only find Mauritiusblau 287/2 ,287/3 ,my car is 287/5 am i right in thinking that /2 will be lighter in colour ie more faded than /5 ?not sure about halfords paint mixed by hafwits either,£15 is cheep though !my local paint suppliers want £26 for their rattle cans ! Youre thoughts please !

Have you tried jewel paints? My local one is very helpful.

I've used jewel paints a lot and the are the best I have found the halfords paints are ok for areas not really seen had a problem with cans not spraying too

After 5 visits to 3 different halfords over 2days i gave up on them!they had no cans in one place and In two locations they were short on colours so i paid £26 for one can at my local ! Top notch though! I hope it matches !i went on the colour code rather than them matching it !

Let's hope the paint has stayed in good shape

Sorry where does it say there are three shades of Mauritiusblau? I did not know this, is it under the hood somewhere? Thanks.

halfords paints are great but ask for someone superior if getting paint mixed , used to work in halfords

also 2 is lighter than 5 as you said

^^under the hood near the headlights there is a plate with the colour code mine says 287/5 i know 2 is non metalic the other numbers are lighter shades i believe !
